I really like the detail on his face and the trim. His tunic looks a bit flat though I would try to emphasize the shading and creases more.

The monkey's head looks glued-on due to the lack of detail in the robe. The background is also very unconvincing, it's a jamble of unconnected doodles. Everything must work in harmony; devise the perspective of the interior, find where every object will be and how it will be seen at that angle. No shotrcuts please!

Quelin, yes, you are right about the flatness... I was afraid to overwork it and screw it up worse than it was. Maybe next time.
